How to auto delete your YouTube history

YouTube has launched a new feature to keep its user data secure. With the help of this new feature of YouTube, users can automatically delete their YouTube search history.

Now Youtube users can set their history to be automatically deleted with the help of this new Auto Delete Youtube feature.
Already users can manually delete their data, but with this feature, users can set their date to be automatically deleted after 18 months.

Google launched this auto-delete feature in May for Location History and Web & App Activity, and has now rolled out this feature to YouTube as well.

How to auto delete your YouTube history

Google is offering its users three options for storing Youtube History. If you also want to use this feature of Youtube then you should follow the given steps.

Open Settings on your smartphone.
Go to Google.
Tap on Google Account.
Go to ‘Data and Personalization’.
Go to “Youtube History“.
Now click on “Manage Activity”.
You will now be redirected to the “Manage Activity” page.
By default your Youtube History is on. You can select the “Choose to delete automatically” option to change this.
You will see three options here, ‘Keep until I delete manually’, ‘Keep for 18 months’ and ‘Keep for 3 months’.
Confirm the option you selected. Google will give you the option to delete the history here.
